Oxycodone and Hydrocodone as signified by their names are typical narcotics which could only be prescribed. Hydrocodone are known with brands like Lorcet, Lortab and Vicodin while Oxycodone is marketed under genres like NSAID and ibuprofen.

• Dosage and Strength

Nobody is stopping you to consume oxycodone over hydrocodone but, there are some other facts that you should know before you take any such step. If you have a weak stomach or are lightweighted, Oxycodone may not be a good idea. Its strong potency may fit better for those with a tough stomach. 7.5 mg of hydrocodone can be ingested to produce the same effects as 5 mg of oxycodone would induce in the body.
