How to Get Rid of Dark Spots on Legs

If you have dark spots on your legs, you are likely to have something called hyperpigmentation. It is often caused by excess melanin in your body. 1. Turmeric, Lemon Juice and Yogurt

Mix together a blend of ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp yogurt and 5 drops of lemon juice. Mix the ingredients together and apply it to the spots, leaving it on for at least ten minutes. It takes a while for this to work, so try it every day for a few weeks.

Lemons have natural bleaching properties. Apply lemon juice to the spots and leave it there for half an hour. Repeat this twice a day. This is yet another proven way to treat dark spots. Apply castor oil with a cotton ball, once in the morning and once at night. You can also use other oils, such as Vitamin E oil, almond oil or grapeseed oil.

5. Horseradish

This pungent remedy is known to remove freckles and sun spots. Apply it to the skin as a paste, or mix it with apple cider vinegar in a glass container and allow it to sit for two weeks. After those two weeks, strain the solution and apply it three times a day. Noticeable changes can be seen within one month.

Slice up onions and rub the juice over the area two or three times a day. The bleaching properties of onions will help the dark spots fade. To create a paste, blend onion juice with honey and leave it on the spots for 15 minutes at a time, once a day. You can also add some garlic juice for stronger effects.
